How long has Hotel Hennemann been around?
Hotel Hennemann in Eslohe-Cobbenrode has been family-owned since 1950 and is now run by the third generation. It has held a 4-star classification since 1980, renewed every two years.
What are the check-in and check-out times?
Check-in is from 2 pm, check-out by 11 am.
What rooms are there and how much does a night cost?
The hotel has 23 rooms: 4 single rooms, 15 double rooms and 4 family rooms. A night with breakfast costs €78 to €130 depending on room and season, with half board €122 to €170.
Are dogs allowed?
Yes, dogs are welcome if you let us know in advance. We charge €22 per day (food not included).
Is there parking and an EV charging point?
Yes, parking at the hotel is free and there is a charging point for electric cars. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the hotel.
When are the pool and saunas open?
The 75 m² indoor pool is open daily from 7 am to 9 pm. The Finnish sauna, herbal sauna and relaxation room (with tea station) are open daily from 1 pm to 9 pm. Bathrobes are provided.
Can I visit for the day without staying overnight?
Yes. Day guests are welcome to use the pool and saunas, the tennis centre, massages and beauty treatments and our restaurant – and to join us for the breakfast buffet.
When is the restaurant open?
The restaurant is open daily from 5 pm until 8 or 9 pm, and on Sundays also from 12 noon to 2 pm – non-residents are very welcome. The bar and lounge are open daily until midnight, and there is a garden terrace with a covered lounge.
What tennis courts are there?
Our tennis centre has 3 indoor courts with a joint-friendly carpet surface with granulate and 2 outdoor clay courts, plus a small bistro in the hall. Courts can be booked online – non-residents are welcome too.
Is tennis coaching available, and can I hire a racket?
Yes, 5 qualified coaches offer lessons for all levels, and rackets are available for hire. Our hall also hosts league matches.
What is there for families with children?
Families can choose from 4 family rooms and enjoy the pool, a skittle alley, table football, table tennis and discounted tennis courses for children.
What is the cancellation policy?
Individual bookings can be cancelled free of charge up to 4 days before arrival, business travel bookings up to 1 day before arrival. Special conditions apply to the tennis weekend and group bookings – just ask us.
How do I get to the hotel without a car?
You can travel by train and bus; the nearest station is Lennestadt. We are happy to pick you up on request.
What is there to do nearby?
Excellent waymarked hiking trails start right at the hotel, and the new Seelenort (a contemplative viewpoint) is in Cobbenrode. Nearby: Eslohe (7 min), the Karl May Festival in Elspe (10 min), Schmallenberg (15 min), Lake Sorpe and Lake Henne (30 min each) and Winterberg (45 min) – plus factory outlets such as Falke, GEFU, Westmark, Birkenstock and Berndes.

Yes, 2 meeting rooms for up to 22 people with projector, screen, TV, Wi-Fi, flip charts and a facilitation kit.
